Psoriasis Clinic Inaugurated at MTH 2019

A Public health awareness seminar on “Psoriasis Day” was organized by Department of Dermatology, MTH on October 29, 2018. Prof Dr Muhammad Azam Bukhari, Head Department of Dermatology, Shalimar Medical College Lahore was the guest speaker. He Talked about various types of psoriasis and their clinical features. Prof Dr Tanzeela Khalid, HoD Dermatology, MTH talked about the patient’s perspective of Psoriasis and emphasized on the use of biopsychosocial model of health and illness while managing these patients. Later, “Psoriasis Clinic” formally inaugurated at MTH by the Prof Dr Muhammad Azam Bukhari. It is an integrated service that will be offered by Dermatology department in collaboration with Rheumatology department for the patients of Psoriasis and Psoriatic arthritis.
