15th October, 2017, observed as the International White Cane Day, to educate the world about blindness and how the blind and visually impaired can live and work independently, to celebrate the abilities and successes achieved by blind people in a sighted world and to honour the many contributions being made by the blind and visually impaired.
A Team of School of Nursing, MTH participated in the function organized by National Special Education Center, Faisalabad, Pakistan. Special children presented national songs and beautiful tableau show. Earlier, Principal National Special Education Center in her welcoming remarks said that the purpose of celebrating the White Cane Day is aimed to realise the society that special children are the vital part of this society and it is our duty to help them out and create opportunity to make them a useful citizen of the Pakistan.
All the expenses of the function are bear by Madinah Foundation.
