Medicine Department was started in Madinah Teaching Hospital (MTH) in 2006. During the year 2012 about 18111 patients were attended in the Medical OPD of Madina Teaching Hospital (MTH). On average 1347 Patients got inpatient services in the year of 2012. This department has 120 beds with latest equipment and machinery. Facility of endoscopy is also available in the department.

At present statistically we are providing specialist advice to approximately 150-200 outdoor patients every day and we have more than 65 medical indoor cases.

Department of Medicine in Madina Teaching Hospital (MTH) is providing teaching facilities for medical undergraduate of The University Medical College, Faisalabad. It is actively involved in research and continuing medical education programme. Various national and international research papers published in recognized medical journals by Madinah Teaching Hospital.
