Department of nutrition and dietetics was established in March, 2019. Initially, the goal of department to provide the optimum nutritional care to Indoor Patients and outdoor patients. The goal of clinical nutrition is to promote health, prevent and treat disease. Department is ensure to work according the guidelines of Punjab Health Commission and ISO certification. Various kind of eating plans and general guidelines of different disease like celiac disease, hypertension is developed by expert dietitians. Clinical nutrition includes assessing nutrient intake, mediating nutrition-related symptom and providing evidence based recommendations for nutrient interventions.
Clinical nutrition is the practice of providing the nutrition related care and advise to individuals with chronic health conditions in order to improve health outcomes.
